Netsmart to Go Private in $115M Buyout

GREAT RIVER, NY  --  Netsmart Technologies (Nasdaq: NTST) has agreed to be acquired and taken private by two venture capital firms, including management participation in the company.

The two firms, Insight Venture Partners and Bessemer Venture Partners, will pay approximately $16.50 per share to public shareholders, representing a 23.5% premium over the average closing price of the stock over the last 20 trading days.

Total value of the transaction is expected to be approximately $115 million and has been approved by the Board of Directors of Netsmart.
